Movie Title: Trouble the Water

I THINK…when people were warned about the coming of hurricane Katrina in New Orleans they did not take it seriously. Even though they were all told to evacuate the area most didn’t expect it to be such a huge disaster.

I SEE… very strong winds that can blow away a person to another planet and gigantic rivers outside of people’s houses. The water was so high it covered stop signs. =-O

I FEEL… sad that some families couldn’t get out before hurricane Katrina struck. Some people couldn’t afford to leave and others didn’t want to leave behind the life they had made for themselves. It amazes me that help didn’t arrive fast enough and that so many people suffered massively. They lost their love ones, their homes, and their properties. I hope that New Orleans can one day be fully restored and that everyone can overcome the tragedy and live life to the fullest despite the past. I feel that the government can create a plan and save money to help those that need it most as well as be prepared in the event that another natural disaster occurs.
